Just breathe
So what is salt therapy?
Salt therapy is a natural remedy that involves inhaling pharmaceutical-grade dry salt in a comfortable, controlled environment.
As you sit back and relax, a special medical device called a halogenerator will disperse microscopic salt particles into the room. You’ll inhale these tiny particles deep into your airways and lungs and they will also land on your skin.
Suitable for babies, children and adults, salt therapy can help soothe a long list of skin, respiratory and lifestyle conditions.

What do I wear in Salt Therapy?
You are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing in Salt Therapy. Typically most participants wear loose comfortable clothing or active wear. However, If you are using salt therapy for a skin condition, the area needs to be exposed to the room for the benefits. The minimum attire allowed to wear in sessions are shorts and a singlet.
Here's how your first salt therapy session might go.
1.
Shoes
You can wear your shoes if you want however you must put on shoe covers to keep the room clean. You can just wear your socks if you wish.
2.
Big Comfy Chairs
Select one of the large comfy chairs or lounges and get yourself nice and cosy. Lean back and stretch out into a laid back position to just relax
3.
Chill
The session begins with the room lights slowly dimming down to the warm salt cave only being slightly illuminated by pink Himalayan salt lamps.
4.
Breathe
Halogenorators grind pharmaceutical grade medical salt into tiny micron particles and are pumped gently into the salt room. Lay back and just breathe.
5.
End
Your 45 minute session concludes with the room lights slowly raising in brightness. Sit up, take a stretch and make your way back to the real world.
